Peer Coaching assignment

Assalammualaikum.. hai everyone:)

So basically for usrah budi 3, we are require to do some Tilawah Peer Coaching which i never do it in my life. In this assignment, we have to choose our own trainee which for me, i just choose my roommate because it easy for me to meet her as we are in the same room. Then, i need to listen my trainee recite Al-Qur'an. Through out the session i also need to check the recitation and mark frequent error that my trainee do. The session i do is about 14 hours total which i do with my partner, Adriana. We decide to choose two trainers and divide 7 hours each for each trainee. We also decide to do some schedule which 1 day only 2 hours we spend with our trainee.

In this post I would like to share my experience when doing this assignment. Before I start to teach my trainee, I revise and add some knowledge about tajwid by reading book and also watch some video in youtube. This will help me to increase my ability to recognize any error that my trainee do when recite Al-Qur'an and also will increase my confident to teach her. This is because before I know that we have to do this activity I'm afraid that I will not do it properly therefore i decide to study before do this assignment. Actually it help me a lot. When doing the activity, my bonding with my roomates is more strenght from before this because with 2 hours session we share many knowledge together and also we do many activity such as quiz, watching YouTube video and also QnA section together. It is so much fun. I also increase my knowledge in tajwid and increase my recitation also. I also recors the session in my notes so i can show to my trainee that she were increase a lot from first seesion. Eventhough at first i have difficulty when do this assignment because i not really confident with my knowledge but i manage to do this assignment until finish with help of my partner an also my roommate. So this is some notes and report that I do from this activity:

We as the trainer teach the trainee about tajwid. Second session: 7.30PM-8.30 PM The session starts with short question about tajwid that we teach in first session. Then trainee start to recite long surah. The trainee has the difficulty to know when we can stop and continue the recitation. Therefore, we watch some YouTube video that can helps us on this.
16/04/2019 (Tuesday)	Nurdiyana Athirah binti Muhamad Hazli	1718638	1 hour for each session	First session: 5.00 PM-6.00 PM The trainee cannot pronounce the huruf jawi properly. Hence, the trainer assists her to pronounce the huruf jawi correctly. Second session: 7.30PM-8.30 PM The session starts with short question on the pronunciation of huruf jawi that we teach in first season. Then trainee start to apply the knowledge in the Qur’an with reciting the short Surah. We help trainee to cite the Surah perfectly.
17/04/2019 (Wednesday)	Nur Insyierah Tasnim binti Mokhtar	1816366	1 hour for each session	Third session: 5.00 PM-6.00 PM The session starts by simple question about when to sop and how to recite it. The trainee starts the to read longest surah from before. The trainee has the difficulty on harakat for some ayah. Therefore, the session focus on hukm tajwid that related to it. Fourth session: 7.30 PM-8.30 PM The session starts with short question about hukm tajwid that we learn from the first session.  Then the recitation starts with the same surah from first session because the trainee still not finish the surah. So, the trainee does not have many mistakes but only small mistake. The trainee improves so much from the first session.
18/04/2019 (Thursday)	Nurdiyana Athirah binti Muhamad Hazli	1718638	1 hour for each session	Third session: 5.00 PM-6.00 PM The session starts by reciting Sura al-ikhlas as a warm up. Then, the trainer identifies that hukm tajwid must be polished. For the whole session, we teach trainee about tajwid. Fourth session: 7.30 PM-8.30 PM The session starts with short question about hukm tajwid that we learn from the third session.  Then the recitation starts with the surah from first session because the trainee still not finish the surah. After that, the trainee recites the long surah, where she is required to apply her knowledge of pronunciation and hukm tajwid on her recitation. Hence, the trainee has improved a lot from previous session.
19/04/2019 (Friday)	Nur Insyierah Tasnim binti Mokhtar	1816366		Fifth Season: 5.00 PM-6.00 PM The session starts with Surah al-Kahfi with 10 ayat and after rad it, the trainee tries to search about 5 hukm tajwid which are ihfak hakiki, izhar halqi, idgham bilaghunnah and iqlab. This session also plus with activity with quiz on hukm tajwid and knowedge about Al-Quran. Sixth Season:7.30 PM-8.30 PM For this session, the trainee is ask to tasmik short surah which are surah Al - Ikhlas, surah An-Nas and surah Al-Falaq. When hear the tasmik, some of the tajwid were wrongly recite by the trainee. Therefore, the trainers start to correct the recitation.
22/04/2019 (Monday)	Nurdiyana Athirah binti Muhamad Hazli	1718638	1 hour for each session	Fifth Season: 5.00 PM-6.00 PM For this week, the trainer teaches trainee on the in-depth hukm tajwid. The whole session is to be polished and improved the hukm tajwid on trainee. Sixth Season: 7.30 PM-8.30 PM The session started with short question on tajwid in the paper. As a result, the trainee has made a good result on the short quiz.
23/04/2019 (Tuesday)	Nur Insyierah Tasnim binti Mokhtar	1816366	1 hour	Seventh Season: For the last session, the trainee has been ask to read any surah to me as I want to hear for the last time. From that session I can see many improvements.
24/04/2019 (Wednesday)	Nurdiyana Athirah binti Muhamad Hazli	1718638	1 hour	Seventh Season: For the last session, the trainee has been assigned to recite the surah along with the pronunciation and hukm tajwid. The trainee has made a lot improvement compared to the first session.
